GoHighLevel Review (2026): Features, Pricing & Verdict

GoHighLevel (now branded HighLevel) is an all-in-one CRM and marketing automation platform built for marketing agencies, which many real estate teams adapt for lead follow-up. It is powerful and good value with unlimited users from $97/month, but it is not purpose-built for real estate, has no native IDX/MLS integration and takes real effort to set up.

See how it compares: Best AI CRM for Real Estate Teams (2026)

What is GoHighLevel?

GoHighLevel, now branded HighLevel, is an all-in-one sales and marketing platform. It combines a CRM with pipelines, SMS and email, websites and funnels, calendars, reputation management, call tracking and AI features such as voice AI and missed-call text-back. It is built first for marketing agencies, which can white-label it and resell it to their clients.

Real estate teams use it because it can replace several tools at once. HighLevel offers a Real Estate Agent Playbook with a ready-made real estate setup, website and funnel templates and pre-built automations — but the platform itself is generic, and a native IDX integration requested by users since 2020 is still listed as under review.

Best for

  • Team leaders who want CRM, SMS, email, funnels and automation in one system for the whole team
  • Tech-comfortable agents — or teams with an assistant — willing to invest time in setup
  • Teams paying for several separate marketing tools that they want to consolidate

Not for

  • Agents who want a plug-and-play real estate CRM with an IDX website — there is no native IDX/MLS integration
  • Anyone without time to learn a complex platform or budget to hire help with setup
  • Solo agents who only need a simple contact manager

Where the score comes from

Key features

  • CRM with pipelines, deal management and lead scoring
  • Workflow automation builder for SMS, email and task follow-up
  • AI features: voice AI, AI conversations and missed-call text-back
  • Websites, funnels, forms, surveys and calendars
  • Reputation management and review requests
  • Social media planner and call tracking
  • Unlimited users and contacts on every plan
  • Integrations with Zapier, Google, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Stripe and QuickBooks, plus an API

Pricing

HighLevel publishes three plans: Starter at $97/month (up to 3 sub-accounts), Unlimited at $297/month and Agency Pro at $497/month, which adds SaaS mode for agencies. Annual billing costs ten times the monthly price, so two months are free. Enterprise pricing is custom.

For a real estate team, Starter is usually enough: it already includes unlimited users and contacts, which makes it cheap per seat compared with per-user CRMs.

The subscription is not the full cost. Phone calls, SMS, email sending and premium AI features are billed on usage, and the AI Employee add-on costs $50 to $97/month. Budget for these before comparing it with a flat-price CRM.

A 14-day free trial gives full access; billing starts automatically unless you cancel.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Replaces several separate tools: CRM, SMS, email, funnels, websites and reviews
  • Unlimited users and contacts from $97/month — strong value for teams
  • Very powerful automation for lead follow-up
  • Public pricing and a 14-day free trial
  • Large ecosystem of integrations, templates and third-party setup help

Cons

  • Not built for real estate: no native IDX/MLS integration
  • Steep learning curve — it is the most common complaint in G2 and Capterra reviews
  • Usage-based costs for phone, SMS, email and AI add up on top of the subscription
  • G2 reviewers report inconsistent support quality and occasional bugs or outages
  • Many teams end up paying a consultant to set it up properly

Verdict

GoHighLevel gives a real estate team more automation per dollar than almost anything else: unlimited users, SMS, email, funnels and AI follow-up from $97/month. For a team leader who wants to build a lead follow-up machine and has the time or the help to set it up, it is excellent value.

It scores 65/100 because it is an agency tool adapted to real estate rather than built for it: there is no native IDX/MLS integration, the learning curve is steep, and usage costs come on top. If you want a real estate CRM that works out of the box, look at Lofty instead; if you want flexibility and control, start the 14-day trial with a clear setup plan.
